Half term is in full swing and Valentine’s weekend is bringing all the vibes — from baby goats and balloon rockets to K-Pop anthems and classic sing-alongs.

🐐 Ark on the Clyde OPEN DAY
Animal lovers, this one’s for you! Head to Finlaystone Estate for a hands-on farm adventure where kids can cuddle guinea pigs, meet goats and alpacas, and even enjoy a gentle Shetland pony ride. Under 5s can hop on for a wee ride, while older kids can take the reins for a walk. Bonus: free hot chocolate for the kids to warm up after all that excitement. Yes please!

🦢 Valley View Panto: The Ugly Duckling
Panto season is not over yet! Follow Sammy the “duckling” on a heartwarming (and hilarious) adventure packed with catchy songs, daft characters and loads of audience fun. Starring Ian ‘Sheepie’ Smith, this one’s bursting with laughs and lovely messages about being proud of who you are. Perfect for all ages.

🚀 Blast Off February
Ready for lift-off? Glasgow Science Centre is going full cosmic this half term with rocket launches, coding challenges, marshmallow space demos and a galaxy-spanning trail across the building. There are hands-on workshops (first come, first served — arrive early!) plus Planetarium shows and IMAX adventures. It’s basically a mission to tire them out using science.
