This weekend is a proper mixed bag — and we mean that in the best way. One minute your kids could be sipping mocktails with princesses, the next they're cheering on Grado at the Pavilion, and by Sunday they're perfecting their K-Pop choreo at SWG3.

🎤 K-Pop Live

SWG3 is turning into Seoul for the day with live K-Pop performances, dazzling choreography and all the hits your kids have been blasting on repeat — Golden, APT., Dynamite, Gangnam Style, the lot. There's glitter stations, bubbles, confetti, street food and roaming entertainers to keep the energy sky-high. Ages 4+ and guaranteed to send everyone home buzzing.

⚽ Little & Mini Buddies

Future football stars, assemble! These intro-to-football sessions in Renfrew kick off this Friday, with playful games for the 3–4s and more structured skills like dribbling and passing for the 5–6s. A brilliant way to burn off some energy before the weekend even starts.

🤼 Grado's Big Family Wrestling Bash

Grado is back at the Pavilion with a pile of UK wrestling superstars and a whole afternoon of family-friendly chaos. Expect big characters, big moves, and a whole lot of cheering (and booing) from the crowd. Proper Saturday afternoon entertainment.

✂️ Saturday Crafts at North Lanarkshire Heritage Centre

A cheap and cheerful drop-in craft session every Saturday afternoon — no booking, no fuss. All ages welcome and crafts are just a couple of quid. Great shout if the weather turns and you need somewhere low-key to escape to.

🎬 Take 2: Family-Friendly Films

Free Saturday morning cinema at the GFT — honestly one of the best-kept secrets in the city. Kids 14 and under get a free ticket plus one for their grown-up (collected from the box office on the day). A properly lovely way to start the weekend.

🎈 Family Fun Sundays at The Grosvenor

Ashton Lane + face painting + a balloon modeller = a very easy Sunday win. Free to drop in, just throw on a party outfit and wander down. Big kids welcome too, which is always a bonus.

🐛 Forest Families – Minibeasts Galore

Spring has sprung at Mugdock and the tiny creatures are waking up. Head along for a ranger-led minibeast hunt and a bit of pond dipping — muddy knees absolutely guaranteed. Suitable for ages 3+ and only the kids need a ticket.

👑 Princess Afternoon Tea

Dust off those tiaras! Four princesses will be welcoming guests at the AlonA Hotel for finger sandwiches, mini cakes, scones, and a mocktail for the kids (prosecco for you — you've earned it). After lunch it's singing, dancing and loads of photos with the princesses themselves.
